The Human Resources team partners with Foundation leaders and managers to design and implement effective and comprehensive people strategies. We provide the thought leadership, expertise, processes, tools, and resources to facilitate the hiring, development, and retention of a highly talented and engaged. Responsibilities
The Recruiting Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining recruiting management systems and other tools to support core recruiting workflows. They ensure data integrity in systems, resulting in robust and accurate recruiting reports. They will analyze data to ensure optimal recruiting results. The Recruiting Operations Analyst collaborates with HR/recruiting colleagues, IT partners and external vendors on issues relating to recruiting management system and tools. This position will train new users on our applicant tracking system and serve as point of contact with the vendor. S/he will also educate the recruiting team on industry standards and best practices related to recruiting management systems and related tools. The Recruiting Operations Analyst will act as subject matter expert on projects related to recruiting tools, systems and processes.
Recruiting Systems Administration:
  • point of contact for systems issues and maintenance, implement and test configuration changes, maintain system process documentation, act as a liaison for recruiting system with internal partners and external vendors, maintain awareness of current trends in recruiting management systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies
  • Project Management: act as subject matter expert on projects related to recruiting tools, systems and processes, responsible for understanding systems and process impacts when rolling out new processes or process changes, manage all recruiting team communications including training materials, standardized templates, offer packets, etc. to ensure information is updated
  • Background checks: main point of contact for recruiters, liaise with Security when issues and questions arise related to check, review monthly data provided by Security to provide analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement-
SharePoint administration:
Update and maintain recruiting SharePoint, responsible for records management
- Reporting: analyze recruiting data and metrics to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness of recruiting strategies and measure ROI, evaluate additional information needs and recommend appropriate system changes or enhancements to meet the needs, writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools, assists recruiting/HR team in development or customization of standard reports for ongoing customer needs, generates ad-hoc reports as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a data management role requiring knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, Visio and report writing tools. Experience with a Recruiting Management System is also required.
  • Working knowledge of Kenexa's BrassRing is ideal.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience and familiarity with workflows and concepts associated with a full-life cycle recruiting environment.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience, preferred.
  • Deep HR business acumen.
  • Experience defining and developing workflows and tools in support of business needs in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience managing external vendors in a collaborative manner to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience in a complex organization or consulting role requiring impeccable judgment, strong analytical skills, and customer focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly dynamic environment and the ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy both individually, and as part of a complex team effort.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills on complex technical issues to a broad, diverse audience.
  • Experience working as a peer mentor and/or facilitating training programs.This is a Limited Term Employee (LTE) position with an anticipated completion date of December 2014.As part of our standard hiring process for new employees, employment with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will be contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
