Background
Marked in the Haitian Government will fight extreme poverty, social protection strategy Ede Pep was launched to reduce the extreme poverty that affects about 56% of the Haitian population. This strategy includes a series of public interventions that provide protection to all vulnerable populations throughout their life cycle. Interventions are implemented through the collaboration of several public institutions. The Ede Pep goal is to enable beneficiaries out of their condition of extreme poverty and long-term investment in human capital development and economic inclusion of these people.
Under Pep Ede, the household is receiving the basic unit of government intervention so that any intervention has a synergistic effect on the entire family unit. Thus, the creation of a Single Registry of Beneficiaries (RUB) which allows to identify and select the households living in extreme poverty is a priority to ensure the objectivity and transparency of operations and better manage scarce resources public to the poorest households. The Government of Haiti and begins a process of building a single database of beneficiaries with technical support from UNDP to take advantage of its extensive network of experts at regional and international level in the field of social protection. The register will facilitate a more integrated management of social assistance, a more appropriate targeting of programs, the adoption of a unified approach to social protection, and economic analysis and proper monitoring of policies.
It is in this context that UNDP seeks to recruit supervisors collection and data entry as part of the implementation of RUB with proven experience in managing teams and in the implementation and coordination of household surveys .
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of specialist "Poverty Reduction" UNDP (or his / her replacement / e) Program, supervisors of activities RUB missions have the following main tasks:
- Ensure the quality of the collection provides oversight through the following activities:
- Supervise field investigators during missions data collection;
- Coding questionnaires;
- Data entry;
- Support other tasks related to the implementation of the RUB investigation if necessary.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- University degree (License minium level) in social sciences, project management, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience;
- Proven track record in team management and supervision;
- Experience in conducting and coordinating investigations households will be considered an asset.
Languages:
- E xcellente control of Haitian Creole and French written and spoken.
